Master Programme in Business Administration (MBA): Business Management 60 credits

University of Gavle offers you an international master's program in English

University of Gavle, Department of Business Studies and Economics, offers you an International master's program in English. 
The Department of Business Studies and Economics, offers an International Master's programme with a primary focus on modern management, and international­ business marketing in a global society. The program runs for two semesters (60 credits in total), and comprises 15 credits of mandatory thesis work, and optional courses totaling 45 credits (see below).

Study and thesis writing is supported by frequent contact with external business. Applicants are accepted twice a year (August and January). Applications are invited from Swedish and International students in possession of a Bachelor degree or equivalent in Business ­Administration. Candidates are expected to have sufficient proficiency in the English language.

Students successfully completing the programme will find themselves qualified to work in international private and public sector organizations. They will also be able to engage in continuing research and qualify for doctoral studies.

After the studies

Competence:
The general entry requirements for admission to courses and study programs that lead to the award of a second-cycle qualification are regulated in The Higher Education Ordinance. Qualified to master programmes are students which possesses a first-cycle qualification comprising at least 180 credits with Business Administration as a major (90 credits) or a corresponding qualification from abroad. Also required is knowledge equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school course English B or equivalent to one of the following tests: IELTS : an overall mark of 6.5 and no section below 5.5 TOEFL (paper-based): Score of 4.5 (scale 1-6) in written test and a total score of 575 TOEFL (internet-based): Score of 20 (scale 0-30) in written test and a total score of 90.
