The Master's Programme in Sustainable Urban Design is practise oriented, based on current best practices in Europe, and theoretically oriented, based on advanced research in the fields of urban form, urban quality and sustainability.

The Master's Programme in Sustainable Urban Design is practise oriented,

Attractiveness, long-term quality and sustainability are prioritized urban goals. Students are trained to identify these goals and to attain them in the their design projects. The project courses are method oriented. A key concept is the urban structure - being the guiding principles which organize the basic urban elements. Another key comcept is the network city or regional city. Students are trained to design high-quality urban structures for new neighbourhoods, for decaying urban districts, as well as improved structures for the regional landscape.
